Where personal WhatsApp is supported for your workspace, you can link the number on your phone under **Settings → Communications Accounts** → **WhatsApp (your number)**. This is separate from the **WhatsApp Business** connection, which may show Coming soon.

## Link your phone

  - Choose **Connect your number**. Read the connection notice and acknowledge the risk to your number before continuing. This links Kepler as a device, like WhatsApp Web; the notice explains that this is not an official WhatsApp product, is not allowed by WhatsApp's terms, and can put your number at risk of restriction or a ban.

  - Choose **Scan a QR code** or **Enter a code on my phone**. For the code option, enter the number on the phone you will pair.

  - On your phone, open WhatsApp → **Linked devices**. Choose **Link a device** to scan the QR code, or **Link with phone number instead** to enter the displayed code.

  - Wait for the account to show **Connected**, then open **Communications → WhatsApp**.

If pairing reports that personal WhatsApp is not configured, contact support about availability for your workspace. Repeating the pairing steps will not fix a server setup issue.

## Choose who can see your conversations

Personal WhatsApp starts as **Private (only me)**. Use the account's **Sharing** control to share activity only, metadata, or full messages with the workspace. Review this separately from your email account's sharing settings.

## Paused, waiting or disconnected?

  - Open the account actions to **Pause** or **Resume** a connected session.

  - For **Action needed** or a broken session, choose **Reconnect** and complete pairing again.

  - Check **Sending health** for warm-up, risk, next availability and sending hours. Kepler paces messages, so a queued message may need to wait. This connection is for personal conversations; the connection notice explains that broadcast-like sends are refused.

## Disconnecting

Choose **Disconnect** from the account menu and confirm. This deletes the linked session; existing synced conversations remain in Communications. You can also unlink the device from WhatsApp on your phone.
