# Create and launch an outreach campaign

> Prepare a sequence, preview its recipients and sender, and publish it for outreach.

_Collection: AI & Automation (ai-automation) — Kepler Help Center. Canonical: https://keplercrm.com/support/articles/create-a-campaign/_

> **NOTE:** Campaigns is available only in enabled workspaces and requires the appropriate permissions. Preview access does not necessarily include real email sending. If you are using a preview workspace, confirm sending availability with your administrator or Kepler support before relying on a launch.

## Create the sequence

  - Open **Campaigns** and create a new campaign. Give it a name and select its purpose: generic outreach, presenting a job to candidates, or presenting a candidate to contacts. The purpose is fixed at creation.

  - Start from **Blank**, a **Template**, or **Duplicate**. For a job or candidate presentation, check the linked record in the campaign's Settings.

  - In **Editor**, compose the email steps and add any task steps or delays. A task configured to wait for completion holds the recipient at that step until the task is marked done.

  - Review personalization and attachments in the sequence preview. Check the sending window and timezone, and the conditions that should end outreach.

  - Fix the issues shown beside **Publish**, wait for saving to finish, then publish.

The first publication makes a draft campaign live. Publishing a later version keeps its current live or paused status. Use the live switch to control that status. Publishing does not by itself choose or enroll recipients.

## Preview and enroll recipients

  - Open **Enroll recipients** after publishing. Check the **Campaign** and **Sender** at the top of the dialog; do not assume the sender is your own mailbox.

  - Use **People** to choose recipients, or **Audience rule** to configure an audience. Review eligibility and skipped recipients before proceeding.

  - Select a sample recipient and read the rendered sequence, including personalized text. Resolve missing information or unintended recipients before enrollment.

  - Confirm enrollment, or start the reviewed audience rule. Open **Recipients** to follow progress and **Insights** to review results.

For sending as colleagues, use **Settings → Delegated sending** within the campaign. Invited colleagues must enable it for themselves. The enrollment dialog shows the actual selected sender and connected mailbox.

## Edit a published campaign

Changes are saved to the draft until you publish them. New enrollments use the published version at enrollment; recipients already enrolled keep their original version. Review the publication status before adding more people. You can compare published versions in **Settings**, or discard unpublished changes to return the draft to its last published content.
