# Getting help inside Kepler

> Open Help from any page for articles about that page, ask a question in plain words, or send a message to the Kepler team.

_Collection: Getting Started (getting-started) — Kepler Help Center. Canonical: https://keplercrm.com/support/articles/getting-help-in-kepler/_

Help lives inside the app, beside whatever you are working on. It reads the same articles as this help center, answers questions from them, and lets you message the Kepler team without leaving the page.

## Open Help

  - Select the **Help** button (the question-mark icon) in the page header, to the left of Assistant.

  - Or open your account menu at the bottom of the sidebar and choose **Help**.

  - Or press `⌘K` / `Ctrl+K` and choose **Search help**.

Help and the Assistant share the panel on the right, so opening one closes the other. Press `Esc` or select **Close** to put it away.

## Articles for the page you're on

**For this page** lists up to three articles about the screen beside the panel. Below it, **Browse topics** lists every collection in the help center. Open an article to read it in the panel. **Help center** at the bottom opens the full help center in a new tab.

## Search or ask a question

  - Type in **Search or ask a question**. Matching articles appear as you type; use `↑` / `↓` and `Enter` to open one.

  - To ask instead, press `⌘Enter` / `Ctrl+Enter`. Kepler reads the most relevant articles and answers from them, with numbered links to its **Sources**.

  - Ask a follow-up in the same thread, or open a source to read the full steps.

Answers come from the help articles, not from your workspace's records. To ask about your candidates, jobs or pipeline, use the [Kepler Assistant](/support/articles/kepler-assistant/). If Help can't find an answer it shows the **Nearest articles** instead of guessing.

Under each answer, **Did this answer it?** takes a **Yes** or **No**. Choosing **No** opens Contact support with your question already filled in.

## Contact support

  - Select **Contact support** at the bottom of the Help panel.

  - Add a **Subject** if you like (otherwise the first line of your message is used) and write your **Message**: what you were trying to do and what happened.

  - Check **Sent with your message**. Kepler attaches the page you were on, your browser and operating system, the app build and, if you came from an answer, that answer. Remove any of them you'd rather not send.

  - Select **Send** (or press `⌘Enter` / `Ctrl+Enter`).

The team replies by email to the address on your Kepler account. You can also email [support@keplercrm.com](mailto:support@keplercrm.com) directly.
