**Kepler CRM for LinkedIn** is a browser extension that lives in a side panel while you browse LinkedIn. On any profile it tells you instantly whether the person is already in your CRM — and if not, saves them as a candidate or contact without copy-paste.

## Installing

The extension works in Chrome, Edge and other Chromium browsers. Install it, then pin the Kepler icon to your toolbar so the side panel is one click away. (If your team received the extension as a folder, load it via your browser's extensions page with Developer mode → **Load unpacked**.)

## Signing in

  - Click the Kepler toolbar icon to open the side panel.

  - Sign in with your normal Kepler email and password.

  - Pick your workspace (switchable later in the panel's settings).

## Using it on LinkedIn

  - Open any LinkedIn profile (regular profiles and Sales Navigator lead pages both work). The panel reads the person's **name, headline, location, current company and about section**.

  - **Already in Kepler?** The panel checks by LinkedIn URL and email and shows the existing candidate or contact so you don't create a twin. From there you can read their details, activity, jobs and list memberships, add them to a list, save a note, create a task, or choose **Open in Kepler CRM**.

  - **New person?** Every field is editable before saving. Choose **Candidate** or **Contact**, review the fields, then click **Add candidate** or **Add contact**. Select **Open in Kepler CRM** after saving to open the record.

  - The panel re-scans automatically as you move between profiles; use the **⟳** refresh button if a slow page hasn't finished loading.

## Company pages and bulk import

The extension also recognises LinkedIn company pages. On search-results pages, select several profiles and click **Import selected** to add candidates in bulk; you can optionally add them to a list as you go.

## Good to know

  - Candidates imported this way are tagged with **source: LinkedIn**, so you can filter and report on sourcing channel.

  - LinkedIn rarely exposes email and phone — add them in the panel before saving if you have them, or later on the record.

  - If LinkedIn changes its page markup, a field can occasionally come through empty — everything is editable, so a miss never blocks an import.

> **NOTE:** The extension uses your normal Kepler login and workspace permissions — it can only see and create what you can in the app.
