# Setting up your workspace

> Name your workspace, manage your team, and find your way around Settings.

_Collection: Getting Started (getting-started) — Kepler Help Center. Canonical: https://keplercrm.com/support/articles/set-up-your-workspace/_

A **workspace** is your agency's home in Kepler: every record, email account, job and placement belongs to exactly one workspace, and only members of the workspace can see its data.

## Workspace settings

Go to **Settings → General** (or open the workspace menu at the top of the sidebar and choose **Workspace Settings**).

  - **Workspace Name** — your agency or team name. It appears in the sidebar and on invitations.

  - **CV Parsing** — the English spelling AI uses when it extracts candidate profiles from CVs.

  - **AI assistant** — **Allow web research**, plus which kinds of change the Assistant may apply without asking.

Team management lives on its own page: **Settings → Members**. See [Inviting your team](/support/articles/invite-your-team/).

## The Settings area at a glance

Settings are split into an **Account** group (personal — applies only to you) and a **Workspace** group (shared — intended for owners and admins).

| Page | What it controls |
| --- | --- |
| Settings → Profile | Your personal profile — name, timezone and appearance. |
| Settings → Security | Your two-factor authentication, and the workspace's MFA and single sign-on policy. |
| Settings → Communications Accounts | Connected Google and Microsoft accounts, sync status and sharing. |
| Settings → Email | Your email signature and reusable email templates. |
| Settings → Calls | The AI Note Taker for online meetings, including its meeting-bot identity and summary template. |
| Settings → Scheduler | Your availability and booking link. |
| Settings → General | Workspace name, CV parsing and AI assistant behaviour. |
| Settings → Members | Seat usage, active members and their roles, and pending invitations. |
| Settings → Record Creation | Rules for when Kepler creates records automatically (for example from synced email). |
| Settings → AI | Which communication sources AI features are allowed to read. |
| Settings → Pipeline stages | Your workspace's pipeline stages — names, colours, order and behaviour. |
| Settings → Job statuses | The lifecycle statuses a job can carry. |
| Settings → Placements | Placement types and the form templates your delivery workflow uses. |
| Settings → Job Portal | Your public careers portal — branding, layout, URL and applicant intake. |
| Settings → Developers | API keys and webhook endpoints. |

> **NOTE:** Account-group pages (Profile, Security, Communications Accounts, Email, Calls, Scheduler) apply only to you. Workspace-group pages affect everyone and appear only when your role has the required permission, so your Settings menu may contain fewer items than the table above.
