# The Communications page

> Browse synced conversations grouped by person, switch folders, and reply without leaving Kepler.

_Collection: Email, Calendar & Meetings (email-calendar) — Kepler Help Center. Canonical: https://keplercrm.com/support/articles/the-emails-page/_

**Communications** groups your Inbox and Sent correspondence by **person**. Use the folder menu to switch between **Inbox**, **Unread**, **Drafts**, **Scheduled**, **Sent**, **Archived** and **Deleted**, then filter by channel.

## Channels

The channel tabs are **All**, **Email** and **WhatsApp**. WhatsApp is currently marked **Coming soon**, so Email is the available messaging channel. Each conversation shows who it's with and the latest activity.

## Browsing

  - Pick a person to see your correspondence with them, newest first; open a conversation to read the full thread.

  - Attachments are listed with each message; CVs detected among them also land on the matching candidate's Documents tab.

  - Click **Compose** to start a new email — see [Sending email from Kepler](/support/articles/sending-email/).

## Communications on record pages

The same data appears on each record: candidates and contacts have a **Communications** tab matched by their email address; companies match by **domain**, so every thread with anyone at the client shows on the account. What you can see always respects each account's [sharing setting](/support/articles/email-privacy-and-sharing/).

## AI and your inbox

Synced mail is one of Kepler AI's main inputs: it links threads to the right records, extracts facts (a new phone number, a notice period, interview availability) and proposes record updates or follow-up tasks. Anything that would change your data appears as an [AI suggestion](/support/articles/ai-suggestions/) first.

> **TIP:** Looking for one specific message? Global search ( Cmd/Ctrl + K ) is usually faster than browsing — search the person's name and jump to their record's Communications tab.
