# Tracking interviews

> Log interview rounds, keep feedback with the record, and see interview history across jobs, candidates and companies.

_Collection: Jobs & Pipeline (jobs-pipeline) — Kepler Help Center. Canonical: https://keplercrm.com/support/articles/tracking-interviews/_

Interviews get their own tab on jobs, candidates and companies, so each audience sees the slice they need: the job shows its process, the candidate shows their history, the company shows everything across their roles.

## Adding an interview

  - Open the job (or candidate) and go to the **Interviews** tab.

  - Click **Schedule interview** — choose the candidate, the **Type** (Screen, First, Second, Final, Client, Technical, Onsite, Offer or Other) and the **Start** and **End** time. Under **More options** you can also set the owner, the **Client Interviewer** and **Other Interviewers**, the location and a video link.

  - Editing an interview also exposes its **Status** — Scheduled, Rescheduled, Completed, Cancelled or No show.

  - After the interview, choose **Log feedback** from the row's menu to record the **Outcome** (Proceed, Hold, Reject, Offer or Withdrawn), a **Rating** from 1 to 5, the client and candidate **Feedback**, and **Internal Notes**.

## Where interviews appear

  - **Job → Interviews** — the schedule and history for the role.

  - **Candidate → Interviews** — their interview history across all your jobs.

  - **Company → Interviews** — every interview across the client's roles, useful for spotting process bottlenecks.

  - **Dashboard** — upcoming interviews surface in your day view.

## Interviews and the rest of the workflow

  - Keep the pipeline stage in sync — a candidate with a confirmed first round should be in your interview stage.

  - If you use the [AI Note Taker](/support/articles/ai-note-taker/), online interviews on your synced calendar can be transcribed and summarised automatically, with the minutes attached to the meeting record.

  - Feedback that decides an outcome belongs on the application too — record it when you [log the outcome](/support/articles/recording-outcomes/).

> **TIP:** Create a task for post-interview debriefs as you book each round — same-day candidate and client debriefs are where deals are saved.
