Auto-updating records

Your records update themselves from the work you already do. Nothing is written until you accept it.

Kepler reads the emails, messages and recorded calls you already have, finds the facts that belong on a record — a start date, a notice period, a salary — and proposes the change with the sentence it came from. You accept or reject it in one click.

Re: Senior Data Engineer at Northwind

Thanks for sending the details over. The role sounds great, and I can start on 3 October if the timing works for them.

Nothing is written on its own

Every change arrives as a proposal. Accept it and it lands attributed to you, never to “the system”.

02

Every proposal quotes its source

The email, message or transcript it came from is on the proposal, with the sentence it read. No source, no suggestion.

03

Accepting is not the end of it

Every accepted value is dated and sourced at cell level, and any of them can be reverted.

The loop

Kepler reads the conversation and proposes the change. You accept it or reject it.

A synced thread is matched to the candidate and job it concerns, read for the facts it contains, and turned into proposals on the record. A blank field is filled; a field someone already set is proposed with a reason. Either way the record only moves when you click Accept.

More than email

Facts arrive on every channel. They all land on the same record.

Email, WhatsApp and LinkedIn threads file themselves onto the record they concern, in order, and you reply from there. Kepler reads the channels you connected — email, calendar and recorded calls — so a notice period said once on a screening call becomes a proposal, sourced to the transcript.

Should I prepare anything on the Spark migration? Happy to walk through the ingestion platform we built at Monarch — 40 TB a day, Python and Spark on AWS.

What a proposal carries

Three things every change has to show. Before and after it lands.

What is changing, the line it came from, and what happened to the value it replaced.

The change, before and after

A blank field says “Not set”, not an instruction. A field someone already set is proposed with a reason: what changed, and what it supersedes.

The sentence it read

Every proposal points back at the email, message or transcript it came from, with the value it extracted still highlighted in the line.

The history, kept per cell

Every accepted value is dated and attributed at cell level. Any of them can be restored, with conflict detection if the record moved on since.

The contract

Nothing lands on its own.

Three rules the update engine cannot break. They are why an auto-updating CRM is a relief rather than a liability.

  • Proposals only. Kepler writes nothing until you accept it, and the change lands attributed to the person who approved it.
  • Sources always shown. Each proposal carries the email, transcript or message it came from, and quotes the sentence it read.
  • Reversible, cell by cell. Every accepted value keeps its date, its source and its actor, and can be put back the way it was.

Questions, answered.

Which recruitment CRM updates candidate records automatically from calls and emails?

Kepler does. It reads the email, calendar and recorded calls you connect, matches each one to the candidate, contact or job it concerns, and proposes the change on the record with the sentence it came from. You accept or reject each proposal, so nothing is written without you.

Will it overwrite something I typed in?

Not on its own. A blank field is filled. A field someone already set is proposed with a reason saying what changed, where it came from and what it supersedes. When sources disagree, every option stays on the table with its source and date — you pick one, and nothing is written until you confirm it.

Can Kepler create follow-up tasks from calls and emails?

Yes. When a call or email contains a commitment, such as promising a client a shortlist by Thursday, Kepler proposes a task with the due date and the record it belongs to. You accept it in one click, or dismiss it.

Do I still have to write up notes after every call?

No. Kepler’s notetaker joins the calls in your calendar and files the summary, the next steps and the full transcript against the right candidate and job, and the facts from the call come through as proposed updates.

What is Kepler allowed to read?

Only the channels you connected: email, calendar and recorded calls. Nothing outside your workspace, and nothing you could not open yourself.
