Loxo sells you reach. Kepler goes deep on what you already own.
Loxo wraps an ATS and CRM around a proprietary graph of 850M+ professionals and a set of agents that source, rank and reach out. Kepler has no database to sell you. It reads the one you have — every CV, note, email thread and call transcript — and makes it searchable, rankable and auditable.
Loxo is a talent intelligence platform: the product is the 850-million-person graph as much as the ATS around it, and Loxo publishes Core at USD 149 and Professional at USD 199 per user per month billed annually, with Loxo Source, the agents, AI Chat and API access all on Professional. Kepler is USD 119 per user per month billed annually in one edition with everything switched on, and it is built for the opposite problem — an agency already sitting on years of CVs, notes, emails and call transcripts that nothing can search. Kepler has no sourcing database of its own and does not pretend otherwise.
Choose Kepler if
Your database is the asset and you cannot get at it. You want plain-English search that reads the CVs, notes, emails and call transcripts you already own, criteria you write per job with a pass-or-gap verdict and the evidence under each one, per-field history with undo, and one price that includes the API, the AI allowance and a migration we run for you.
Choose Loxo if
You need to buy reach. If the desk depends on finding people who are not in your database yet — a new vertical, a US market you have no coverage in, personal contact details for people you have never spoken to — Loxo Source on an 850M+ graph, with contact information delivered alongside the shortlist, is a capability Kepler does not have in any form. No amount of search quality over your own records substitutes for a pool you do not have.

01
Depth on the records you own
Kepler’s search is hybrid semantic and keyword retrieval across candidates, CVs, notes and conversations — the email thread from 2023 and the line someone said on a recorded call, not just the structured fields on a profile.
02
Criteria you write, per job
Kepler’s matching runs against the requirements on that brief, editable per job, and returns a pass or gap verdict for every one of them with the evidence attached. A consultant can read why someone ranked where they did.
03
One edition, migration included
Kepler is USD 119 per user per month billed annually. Every feature is in it — the API, the assistant, matching, the job board — with unlimited records and a migration we run for you on every plan, however large or messy the export.
Side by side
Where the two differ.
Dimensions where Kepler is the stronger product. Loxo is ahead of us on several others — the 850M+ sourcing graph, SMS and voice sequences, a hiring manager portal, job multiposting and a sales CRM — and the blog post covers every one of them in full.

The difference in practice
The best candidate for this role is already in your database.
Loxo’s answer to a hard search is the 850M+ graph, and for a market you have no coverage in that is the right answer. Kepler’s answer is the eight years you already paid for: ask in plain English and it searches the CVs, the notes, the email threads and the call transcripts together, then hands back records you can act on rather than names you retype.

Ranked against your brief
Seven dimensions is a rubric. A brief is not.
Loxo’s Shortlist agent ranks candidates across seven dimensions and shows evidence for every call, which is more than most products do. Kepler ranks against the requirements you wrote on that job — editable per brief, because the fourth requirement on a Series B fintech role is not the fourth requirement on a public-sector one — and returns a pass or gap verdict on each, with the line from the record it rests on.

Assessment
A strong fit for the brief. Sophia has run a production Spark platform on AWS and has managed a team through a migration. Financial services exposure is via a payments client rather than a bank.
Financial services“Two years on a payments client; no bank or fund experience stated.”
Python & Spark in productionmust“Built the ingestion platform in Python and Spark, processing 40 TB a day.”
AWS data platform“Ran the platform on AWS: Glue, Redshift and S3, with Terraform.”

Proposed, not applied
A record that keeps up without changing behind you.
Loxo’s Self-Updating CRM Agent refreshes titles, employers, skills and locations from its own graph, in the background. Kepler works from the other side: the email a candidate sent you, the call you recorded, the message on Thursday. Each one becomes a proposed change sitting on the cell with its source attached, and it lands only when a person accepts it.

Where the engine comes from
Not a first attempt at parsing CVs.
Kepler's CV parsing and formatting are ported from RemakeCV, our own product, which 300+ recruitment agencies use. The migration that fills your database on day one runs on an engine that has been reading real agency CVs for years, not on something written for this launch.
RemakeCV is a Kepler product. It is the same team and the same code, which is why we are willing to point at it — and it is the only outside evidence on this page, because Kepler itself is new and has no customer stories yet.
Migration
Get migrated in days. We handle the whole move.
1. Send us the export
Whatever your current system gives you, plus any loose CVs and spreadsheets sitting in folders. If you are not sure how to get the export out, we will walk you through it.
2. We build the migration
Extraction, mapping, de-duplication and validation — the unglamorous half most vendors leave on your desk. Your custom fields are recreated rather than flattened into notes.
3. You look at a sample
Fifty of your own records, fully parsed — your people, not a demo set. Tell us what we got wrong and we fix it and re-run, as many times as it takes.
4. Everything loads
The full database goes in, mailboxes and calendars connect, and history backfills onto the right records. We stay on it until your team is working in Kepler.
Pricing
What each one costs.
Kepler
£89per user / month, billed annually
Every feature included — there is no edition above this one
Unlimited records and storage
Migration done for you, on every plan
Monthly AI allowance included; more capacity available on request
Loxo
Core from $149, Professional from $199per user / month, billed annually
Loxo publishes three tiers on loxo.co/pricing, checked 6 September 2026. Core, from USD 149 per user per month billed annually and paid up front, is the ATS and CRM with natural-language search, unlimited jobs and candidates, email and calendar sync, the Chrome extension and MCP. Professional, from USD 199, adds Loxo Source on the 850M+ talent graph, the full agent workforce, Loxo AI Chat, contact information with shortlists and API access, plus 2,500 credits per seat per month, pooled across the team and refreshed in full each cycle. Enterprise is a custom annual agreement and is where SSO, SAML and advanced governance sit. Boost multiplies a seat’s credits to 5,000 or 12,500; Boost pricing is not published.
Loxo also publishes its migration terms, which is more than most vendors do: free for Core teams of three seats or more, guided self-serve below that, and complex or custom migrations — including Professional and Enterprise — scoped as fixed packages before you sign. Kepler’s migration is free on every plan regardless of size, seat count or how messy the export is, and there is no tier above the one price.
Questions, answered.
Is Kepler or Loxo better for a recruitment agency?
It depends on whether your bottleneck is reach or recall. Loxo is a talent intelligence platform built around Loxo Source, a proprietary graph of 850M+ professionals, with agents that longlist, shortlist and run multi-channel outreach including SMS and calls. If you need to find and contact people who are not in your database, Loxo is the stronger product and Kepler is not in that business at all. Kepler is built for an agency whose real asset is the database it already has: plain-English search across CVs, notes, emails and call transcripts, matching against the criteria you wrote for that job, per-field history with undo, and one price with every feature in it.
Does Kepler have a sourcing database like Loxo Source?
No. Kepler has no sourcing database of its own and does not sell access to a pool of candidate profiles. Loxo publishes a proprietary graph of 850M+ professionals, searched in one motion alongside your private database, with contact information delivered with shortlists on the Professional plan. That is a genuine capability Kepler does not have, and if it is what you are buying, buy Loxo. Kepler’s sources are your own: bulk CV import, a LinkedIn Chrome extension that tells you whether someone is already on file, applicants from your own branded job board, and the API.
How much does Loxo cost compared to Kepler?
Loxo publishes three tiers, checked 6 September 2026: Core from USD 149 per user per month, Professional from USD 199 per user per month — both billed annually and paid up front — and Enterprise as a custom annual agreement. Loxo Source, the agent workforce, Loxo AI Chat and API access are on Professional, which includes 2,500 pooled credits per seat per month that refresh in full each cycle. Kepler is USD 119 per user per month billed annually, or USD 1,428 per seat per year, in one edition with every feature included, unlimited records, free migration, and additional AI capacity available on request.
What does Kepler’s matching do that Loxo’s does not?
Loxo’s Shortlist agent ranks candidates across seven dimensions and shows evidence for every call, which is a real evidence trail and better than a bare score. Kepler’s difference is whose rubric decides the order: the criteria are the requirements on that particular brief, they are editable per job, and each one comes back as a pass or a gap with the line from the candidate’s record that supports it. Kepler also reads the whole record when it ranks — the CV, the notes, the email threads and the call transcripts — rather than the structured profile fields alone.
Does Loxo have an API, and does Kepler?
Both do. Loxo publishes an Open API with bearer-token authentication and webhooks across candidate, company, deal, job, person, placement and related person records, with create, update and destroy events; Loxo’s help centre describes API access as a paid feature and the pricing page lists it on the Professional plan. Kepler’s public REST API and outbound webhooks are in the single edition at USD 119 per user per month, with scoped API keys, read and write rate limits, idempotency, delivery logs and redelivery.
Can you migrate from Loxo to Kepler?
Yes, and Kepler runs it for you on every plan rather than handing you a spreadsheet and a login. You send an export from Loxo plus any loose CVs, spreadsheets and shared-inbox archives that never made it into the CRM. Kepler does the extraction, mapping, de-duplication and validation, rebuilds your custom fields as real fields rather than flattening them into notes, and shows you fifty of your own records fully parsed before the full load. Activity, stages and history come across, not just names and email addresses, and a full workspace export is available at any time with no exit fee.
