What are Kepler and Tracker?
Kepler is an AI-first recruitment CRM. At its centre is AI Chat, in a sidebar on every page. You ask a question in plain English, and it searches the whole database, ranks candidates and updates records once you approve.
Around AI Chat sit the parts of a recruitment desk:

Tracker trades from tracker-rms.com, and its site footer still reads TrackerRMS. It calls itself “the ATS & CRM built for staffing and recruiting agencies”, with applicant tracking, a sales CRM, automation, job boards and reporting in one system.
For contract placements, Kepler records each placement’s fee, invoice status and payment status and connects to a pay-and-bill system through its API. Tracker keeps timesheets and invoicing inside its own system.
What is the main difference between Kepler and Tracker?
The main difference is how you work. In Kepler you ask. Type “who told us on a call they want to move to Manchester?” and AI Chat searches CVs, notes, email threads and call transcripts, then returns the people as a list you can save.
Kepler also handles the routine updates. Emails, calls and messages turn into proposed updates and tasks, which you approve or reject. Everything is on one plan, so there is no higher plan to unlock.
Tracker is an all-in-one system for staffing firms, sold in four plans. You search with Boolean and semantic queries and filters. Tracker does not have a chat assistant across your records yet.
Tracker’s REST API, Sequencer and AutoAction are only on the Professional plan, which is priced on request.
How does Kepler’s AI compare with TrackerAI?
Kepler’s AI Chat reads CVs, notes and conversations as well as fields. You can @-mention a record, save the answer as a list, and ask it to draft an email or an automation. Anything it would change waits for your approval.
Kepler’s matching scores every candidate from 0 to 100 against the job. The score is based on criteria taken from the job description, which you can edit. Each criterion shows the line from the CV, call or email behind it.
TrackerAI is a set of writing and ranking tools. Tracker’s AI page lists:
- résumé parsing and ranking against a job
- job descriptions and screening questions
- candidate summaries and interview preparation
- email and text outreach, and résumé reformatting onto your template
Tracker’s ranking takes in a candidate’s past success in similar roles, their fit with the client and recruiter feedback. Tracker says TrackerAI access varies by plan, with no detail published.
Calls and meetings. Kepler’s notetaker joins Teams, Zoom and Google Meet calls and files the summary, next steps and transcript against the record. Tracker records calls made through its telephony, but it does not have its own meeting notetaker or call transcription.
Email. Kepler drafts in any composer from the thread, the recipient’s record, recent notes and the job, and you edit and send. Tracker’s AI Content Suite writes emails, texts and job posts, from the Core plan up.

Where does Kepler go further than Tracker?
- It reads everything you hold. Kepler searches CVs, notes, email threads and call transcripts together, so an answer can come from something a candidate said on a call.
- It does the updating. Kepler reads the email, call or message and comes back with the change written, with its source attached, for you to accept or reject.
- You can check and undo. Every field keeps its history with an undo. When two people edit one record, Kepler stops one silently overwriting the other.
- Everything is on one plan. The API, webhooks, campaigns, automations, client portal and contact enrichment are all in the one price.
How much does Kepler cost, and how much does Tracker cost?
Kepler is USD 99 per user per month billed annually (USD 1,188 per seat per year), or USD 129 monthly. Every feature is included, with unlimited records and storage and a free migration. AI Chat is included on every plan, monthly and annual, with no add-on or upgrade needed.
Tracker Professional is the plan to compare. It is the first Tracker plan with the Sequencer, AutoAction, Watchdogs and the REST API, and as of 13 Sep 2026 it reads “Contact Sales — Custom pricing”.
Tracker’s cheaper plans are Core at USD 99 and Launch at USD 79 per user per month, billed monthly. Neither includes those features, and Launch is capped at five recruiters. Tracker asks for a six-month minimum, and job board subscriptions are bought separately.

Kepler is built for recruitment agencies whose main asset is their database: years of CVs, notes, email threads and call transcripts. It suits teams that would rather ask a question than build a search string.

Does Tracker have an AI chat assistant?

Does Kepler write emails for me like TrackerAI does?
Yes. In any Kepler composer you say what the email should cover, and Kepler drafts it from the thread, the recipient’s record, recent notes and the job. You edit and press Send. Kepler never sends on its own. Tracker’s AI Content Suite writes emails, texts and job posts, from the Core plan up.
Can you migrate from Tracker to Kepler?

Is Tracker the same as TrackerRMS?
