7 best Vincere alternatives for recruitment agencies in 2026

Vincere — sold today as Access Vincere Evo — prices a licence, four per-agency AI Smart Packs and further modules separately, and its documented AI scoring rates up to 25 candidates at a time. This is a sourced list of seven alternatives, each with its matched-plan price, what its AI costs, and where it beats Kepler.

The seven Vincere alternatives, in one line each

  • Kepler — perm and contingency agencies that want the AI in one published seat price.
  • JobAdder — APAC and UK agencies that advertise on paid job boards, SEEK included.
  • Bullhorn — enterprise staffing firms that need pay and bill, VMS and a marketplace.
  • Tracker — UK and US staffing firms that need timesheets and payroll sync in the ATS.
  • Recruit CRM — small and mid-size agencies that want a broad, published, per-seat price.
  • Recruiterflow — boutique agencies whose desk runs on multichannel outbound sequences.
  • Spott — AI-native agencies that want more modules than Kepler inside one tool.

Why do agencies look for a Vincere alternative?

The reasons are structural, and every one of them is on a Vincere or Access Group page rather than a review site.

  • A quote assembled from several parts. The Access Group’s UK pricing page publishes the CRM and ATS “from £69 per user per month”, then four Smart Packs per agency per month — Base from GBP 25, Present from GBP 139, Automate from GBP 235, Elite from GBP 349 — and “additional modules for screening, onboarding, payroll and billing as needed”. All are “from” prices billed monthly and the page offers a tailored quote. The Australian page publishes no figures and lists the implementation fee as a separate line (checked 13 Sep 2026).
  • The AI is in the packs, not the licence. The licence alone carries no Copilot, candidate scoring, ad creator or content optimiser. The enrichment agent, screening chatbots and CRM automation sit only in the Automate and Elite packs; advanced analytics and third-party connectors are paid add-ons across all packages; expanded storage is listed among the Elite extras.
  • The documented AI scoring has limits. Vincere’s help centre describes AI candidate scoring as a beta feature that rates candidates on a 1–5 star scale, runs on up to 25 candidates at once, and states that a scored candidate cannot be rescored for the same job. Search is documented as Boolean; meetings and calls are logged by hand into a description field.
  • The suite is built around the temp desk. Vincere TimeTemp — timesheets, shift scheduling, pay rules and invoicing — and the Access payroll and onboarding products beside it are the reason a temp agency buys Vincere. A permanent-placement agency pays for a module list it never opens.

None of that makes Vincere a bad product. For an agency with a temp or contract book that wants one vendor across front office, back office and payroll, Vincere is a serious answer. This list is for agencies that do not need that breadth, or that want the AI in the seat price.

How we evaluated these alternatives

Every claim about a vendor comes from that vendor’s own site, pricing page or help centre, read on the date given in the sources at the foot of this post. The price shown is the matched plan — the tier that carries the AI a buyer would compare — never the cheapest tier, and where a vendor publishes no figure the table says so rather than estimating. Kepler publishes this post and appears first; each entry states where the alternative is ahead of Kepler, and no entry is scored against another. The order is closest substitute for Vincere first.

The seven alternatives in detail

1. Kepler

Kepler is a recruitment CRM built around one assistant and one searchable database, sold in a single edition. The assistant sits in a sidebar on every page, reads the whole workspace — candidates, CVs, notes, emails and call transcripts — and can create and update records once a person approves the change. Where Vincere’s documented search is Boolean, Kepler’s is hybrid semantic and keyword across all of that text; where Vincere’s scoring rates up to 25 candidates at a time, Kepler ranks the database against a per-job brief and returns a pass or gap verdict with the evidence for every requirement; where Vincere logs a meeting by hand, Kepler’s notetaker joins the call and files the summary and full transcript against the record. Around it sit pipelines, Gmail and Outlook sync, a WhatsApp and LinkedIn inbox, CV parsing and formatting, a careers site on your own domain, a client portal, a consent ledger, email campaigns, automations and a public REST API. It suits a permanent, contingency or retained agency whose real asset is years of records nobody can search.

Kepler is USD 99 per user per month billed annually (USD 1,188 per seat per year), or USD 129 monthly. One edition with every feature included, unlimited records and storage, a monthly AI allowance with additional capacity on request, and a migration Kepler runs for you free on every plan — extraction, mapping, de-duplication and validation, fifty of your own records to review before the full load, done in days. Full workspace export at any time, no exit fee.

Where Kepler falls short of Vincere and of several tools here: no timesheets, pay and bill or invoicing; no job multiposting; no SMS inbox or campaigns; no video interviewing; no native mobile app; no candidate-facing portal; no ISO 27001 or SOC 2. It has no paying customers yet; its CV parsing is ported from RemakeCV, Kepler’s own product, which 300+ recruitment agencies use.

2. JobAdder

JobAdder is a long-established ATS and CRM sold to agencies and in-house teams, weighted towards Australia and New Zealand with a substantial UK business — the same markets Vincere sells into, which makes it the nearest substitute. Its feature list is distribution-heavy: posting to more than 200 job boards including SEEK, a marketplace of more than 100 integrations, four portals, an opportunity pipeline, SMS and iOS and Android apps. It suits an agency that advertises on paid boards and wants a mature platform in the same region.

JobAdder publishes no price for any plan. The matched plan is Recruiter Essential, the tier whose card lists Adder Intelligence (Smart Summaries, Smart Sync, Smart Job Descriptions, Smart Floats); the pricing page offers a tailored proposal after a demo. Recruiter Lite is cheaper, also unpriced, and drops Adder Intelligence, standard automations and analytics, and API access. Six paid add-ons sit outside every plan, and the migration cost is not published (checked 13 Sep 2026).

Where JobAdder is ahead of Kepler: one-click posting to more than 200 job boards with source tracking, where Kepler has no multiposting; a marketplace of more than 100 integrations including payroll and billing partners; native iOS and Android apps; SMS as a platform feature; four portals against Kepler’s one; an opportunity pipeline; LinkedIn Recruiter System Connect and SEEK Talent Search Connect; ISO 27001:2022 certification; and years of published case studies.

3. Bullhorn

Bullhorn is the incumbent platform for staffing and recruitment: an ATS and CRM sold in editions, with Bullhorn One layering time and expense capture, invoicing and payroll on top, Amplify carrying the AI, and a Marketplace of 300+ pre-integrated partners. It suits a Vincere customer outgrowing the mid-market — a larger staffing firm that pays contractors, has a VMS relationship and buys software its clients have heard of.

Bullhorn publishes a per-user price for two of its fifteen plans and add-ons: Starter at USD 99 and Core at USD 165 per user per month, excluding VAT, billing basis not stated. The matched plan is Bullhorn Pro — the small-agency tier with AI search and match, Amplify Chat and AI call transcription — and it is quote-only, as are Bullhorn Max, Front Office, Bullhorn One and all eight add-ons. Bullhorn’s knowledge base lists every Amplify skill as a separate purchase requiring the Amplify edition, with the standard AI Assistant offered on a bring-your-own-LLM basis (checked 13 Sep 2026).

Where Bullhorn is ahead of Kepler: Bullhorn One’s back office — time and expense capture, an invoicing engine and payroll; a Marketplace of 300+ pre-integrated partners across nine categories; more than 10,000 customers and 25 years of enterprise references; SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance stated in a 2015 press release; SMS campaigns through Bullhorn Automation; VMS automation, onboarding, credentialing and middle office; and job multiposting through partners plus Amplify prospecting and enrichment skills.

4. Tracker

Tracker (TrackerRMS) puts the ATS, the CRM and the back office in one system for staffing and recruiting firms in the UK and US: timesheets, expenses, invoicing, payroll integrations with QuickBooks, Xero and Sage, candidate compliance and a shift planner, in the same product as the pipeline. For a UK agency that uses Vincere TimeTemp, it is the alternative that answers the same brief.

The matched plan is Professional — the first of Tracker’s four plans with the Sequencer, AutoAction, Watchdogs, the REST API and timesheets — priced “Contact Sales”; TrackerAI access “varies by tier”. Core is USD 99 and Launch is USD 79 per user billed monthly, with no annual figure published; Launch covers up to five recruiters and is sold through LogicMelon. Six-month minimum commitment, job board subscriptions bought separately, no migration fee published (checked 13 Sep 2026).

Where Tracker is ahead of Kepler: the whole back office, which Kepler does not have at all; candidate compliance that can block a candidate from progressing without documents; shift and workforce management; a dedicated two-way SMS number with text as a Sequencer step; multiposting to more than a thousand job boards through LogicMelon and DaXtra, plus Broadbean, idibu and LinkedIn Recruiter System Connect; video interviewing; a mobile app; and around twenty years of operating history.

5. Recruit CRM

Recruit CRM is a broad, inexpensive ATS and CRM for small and mid-size agencies worldwide, priced aggressively per seat. It ships timesheets and invoicing, bulk SMS, a job multiposting add-on, calling and call transcription inside the product, contact enrichment, AI sourcing and native mobile apps, with its AI delivered as fourteen task-level helpers rather than one assistant. It suits an agency that wants Vincere’s breadth at a published per-seat price without a per-agency pack on top.

The matched plan is Business at USD 135 per user per month billed annually, or USD 159 monthly — the first tier with the fifty-match AI matching allowance and open API access; Recruit CRM’s MCP page lists MCP as Business and Enterprise only. Pro is USD 95 annual or USD 109 monthly with two AI matches instead of fifty and no MCP or open API. Enterprise is USD 215 annual or USD 259 monthly and bundles the add-ons billed separately on Business, such as Advanced Analytics at USD 25 per user per month. Done-for-you migration is paid, priced by data volume; the CSV import tool is free (checked 13 Sep 2026).

Where Recruit CRM is ahead of Kepler: timesheets, invoicing and contractor pay in one place; bulk SMS on Business and Enterprise and SMS as a step in its sequences; calls placed, recorded and transcribed inside the product; a multiposting add-on to what it describes as 5,000+ channels; contact enrichment with 25 free credits on every plan; AI sourcing across the open web; Android and iOS apps; and ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certification stated on its data security page.

6. Recruiterflow

Recruiterflow is an ATS and CRM for boutique and mid-size agencies built around outbound sequences and automation recipes, with its AI sold as a set of AIRA agents — notetaker, matchmaker, field updates, job change alerts, submission and task. It suits an agency whose desk makes money on sequenced outbound across channels.

The matched plan is the AIRA Plan — the tier carrying AIRA Notetaker, AIRA Matchmaker and the Field Updates Agent — and it is priced “Let’s chat custom pricing”; every current and future AIRA agent is included on it with no add-ons within a plan. The Platform Plan is USD 119 per user per month billed annually or USD 149 monthly and drops every AIRA agent, omnichannel communication sync and custom BI dashboards. Self-serve CSV import is free; white-glove migration is paid, priced by data volume, six to eight weeks (checked 13 Sep 2026).

Where Recruiterflow is ahead of Kepler: multichannel sequences that send email, calls, SMS and LinkedIn natively with branching logic, where Kepler’s campaigns send email only; SMS as a native sequence step; AIRA Source over 850M+ profiles with phone and email finder agents, where Kepler sells no sourcing pool; job distribution to LinkedIn, Indeed and Glassdoor; deals with a probability to close per stage; interview scorecards attached to pipeline stages; custom BI dashboards on the AIRA Plan; and 2,100+ search firms with a dozen published case studies.

7. Spott

Spott describes itself as an AI-native ATS and CRM for recruitment agencies, EU-weighted, and it is the closest thing to a direct competitor to Kepler here: the same category, the same bet. It ships many discrete AI features — CV diffing, enrichment, matching, inbound triage, call mining, scorecards — each with its own toggle, and pushes cross-record AI work out to ChatGPT or Claude through an MCP server. It suits an agency leaving Vincere because the AI is sold in packs that wants more of the workflow in one modern tool than Kepler covers.

The matched plan is Pro at USD 199 per user per month billed annually, or USD 249 monthly — the tier that adds automations, multi-channel sequences, a marketing suite and data enrichment to the notetaker, search and matching in Core. Core is USD 139 annual or USD 169 monthly and drops those four. AI token spend is included in every plan; enrichment credits cost extra; migration is done by Spott, typically four weeks, with no fee published (checked 13 Sep 2026).

Where Spott is ahead of Kepler: an opportunities pipeline with weighted value; interview scorecard templates with per-application scores; telephony depth — seven VoIP providers including Aircall, live inbound call cards and SMS threads in the inbox; job multiposting through Broadbean and idibu and contact enrichment through a waterfall of data providers; a mobile app; company hierarchies; and ISO 27001 certification with EU hosting.

Which Vincere alternative should you choose?

You run a temp or contract desk and TimeTemp is why you bought Vincere. Choose Tracker for timesheets, invoicing and payroll sync at mid-market scale; Bullhorn if you are large enough for Bullhorn One and a VMS feed; Recruit CRM if the desk is small and a published USD 135 seat with timesheets and invoicing is enough. Kepler, Recruiterflow and Spott have no back office and should not be on this shortlist.

You are in Australia or New Zealand and advertise on SEEK. Choose JobAdder. Posting to more than 200 boards with SEEK Talent Search Connect alongside is the combination Kepler does not attempt.

Outbound sequencing is the desk. Choose Recruiterflow. Email, calls, SMS and LinkedIn in one sequence with branching logic is its core strength.

You bill placements and your database is the asset. Choose Kepler if you want one assistant that reads every CV, note, email and call transcript you own, matching with the evidence behind every requirement instead of a star rating over 25 candidates, a migration done for you, and one published price with nothing in a pack. Choose Spott if you want the same AI-native category with a BD pipeline, scorecards, deeper telephony, a mobile app and ISO 27001.

Frequently asked questions

Is Kepler a good Vincere alternative?

For a permanent, contingency or retained agency, yes. Kepler puts one assistant across the whole workspace, plain-English search over CVs, notes, emails and call transcripts, matching with a verdict and evidence per requirement, a notetaker that files the transcript, a client portal, campaigns, the API and a done-for-you migration inside one USD 99 seat, where Vincere sells its AI in per-agency Smart Packs on top of a per-user licence. For an agency with a temp desk it is not: Kepler has no timesheets, pay and bill, invoicing, multiposting, SMS channel, video interviewing or mobile app, and Vincere ships all of them.

How much does Vincere cost?

The like-for-like Vincere plan is the UK CRM and ATS licence from GBP 69 per user per month plus the Base Smart Pack from GBP 25 per agency per month — the pack that carries Copilot, candidate scoring and the content optimiser. Both are "from" prices billed monthly and the actual figure is a tailored quote. The licence alone has no AI; the enrichment agent and CRM automation need the Automate pack from GBP 235 per agency per month; the Australian pricing page publishes no figures and lists setup costs separately (checked 13 Sep 2026).

Can you migrate from Vincere to Kepler?

Yes, and Kepler runs the migration for you on every plan at no charge. You send an export from Vincere — which also publishes a REST API with requestable keys — plus any loose CVs, spreadsheets and shared-inbox archives; Kepler does the extraction, mapping, de-duplication and validation, rebuilds custom fields as real fields rather than notes, and carries activity, stages and history across. You review fifty of your own records before the full load, and it is done in days. Anything running in Vincere TimeTemp has nowhere to land in Kepler and would need a separate back-office system connected over Kepler’s REST API and webhooks.

Which Vincere alternatives have timesheets and pay and bill?

Bullhorn (Bullhorn One: time and expense capture, invoicing and payroll), Tracker (timesheets, expenses, invoicing and payroll integrations with QuickBooks, Xero and Sage) and Recruit CRM (timesheets, invoicing and contractor pay). JobAdder exports placement data to payroll and billing partners in its marketplace rather than running them. Kepler, Recruiterflow and Spott have no timesheets, invoicing or payroll.

Which Vincere alternatives publish their pricing?

Kepler (USD 99 per user per month billed annually), Recruit CRM (Business USD 135 annual, USD 159 monthly) and Spott (Pro USD 199 annual, USD 249 monthly) publish the price of the tier that carries their AI. Bullhorn publishes Starter at USD 99 and Core at USD 165 but prices Pro by quote; Tracker publishes Core at USD 99 and Launch at USD 79 billed monthly but prices Professional by contacting sales; Recruiterflow publishes its Platform Plan at USD 119 but prices the AIRA Plan by quote; JobAdder publishes no figure for any plan. All checked 13 Sep 2026.

Is Vincere still Vincere after The Access Group acquisition?

The product is sold today as Access Vincere Evo, described by The Access Group as an AI-powered recruitment CRM built by recruiters, for recruiters, with a base put at 22,000+ recruiters. The module names an existing customer knows — Vincere Core, TimeTemp, Engage, Portals, Intelligence, Vinneo — are still in use, the help centre remains at help.vincere.io, and The Access Group sells adjacent products around it: Access Automate, Access Attract Evo, Access FastTrack360 Evo for payroll and billing, and Access Onboarded for screening and onboarding.

Which alternative is closest to Vincere for an APAC agency?

JobAdder. It is weighted towards Australia and New Zealand, posts to SEEK as part of its 200+ board network, and publishes a SEEK Talent Search Connect integration. Vincere’s own APAC weighting is the reason many agencies in that market chose it, and JobAdder is the alternative that keeps the regional fit. Kepler would be the stronger choice for an APAC agency whose problem is a large, poorly tagged database rather than reach into the local market.
