Sending email from Kepler

Compose and reply from your connected account, with templates, your signature and attachments.

With a Google or Microsoft account connected, you can send and reply to email without leaving Kepler — from the Communications page or straight from a record. Messages send from your address and thread normally in recipients' inboxes.

Composing

  1. Click Compose on the Communications page (or reply inside any thread).
  2. Pick the sending account if you have more than one connected.
  3. Add recipients, a subject and your message — the editor supports rich text formatting.
  4. Attach files if needed (up to 25 MB per message) and send.

Sent messages sync back like any other thread and attach to the matching records.

What the composer supports

Cc and Bcc, CRM merge fields in templates, inserting your booking link, and scheduled sending. A scheduled message stays in Scheduled until its send time and can be cancelled back to Drafts.

Templates

Save the messages you send repeatedly — screening invitations, submission cover notes, reference requests — as email templates under Settings → Email. Each template has a name, an optional subject and a rich-text body, and can be inserted into any new email or reply from the compose window.

Your signature

Set your email signature on the same page — it's appended to messages you send from Kepler. A good place for your booking link.

Kepler sends only when you click Send or explicitly schedule a message. Scheduled messages send automatically at the time you chose, unless you cancel them first.
